Since 2019, Aspenplus Enterprises Limited has actively invested in capacity building and knowledge exchange through regular farmers’ trainings, local engagements, and international expos.
Our trainings focus on equipping smallholder farmers—especially women and youth—with practical skills in:
Organic Farming Techniques
- Post-harvest handling & value addition
- Financial literacy and cooperative savings
- Market access strategies and agro-entrepreneurship
We conduct these sessions through community forums, expert-led workshops, and peer-to-peer learning models across our registered farmers’ hubs countrywide.
International Expos & Networks
Aspenplus has proudly represented Ugandan farmers at various international expos and forums, showcasing innovations in sustainable agriculture, organic food systems, and inclusive farmer-led models. These platforms have allowed us to:
- Build networks with global farmer organizations
- Explore international markets for our value-added products
- Highlight Uganda’s smallholder success stories on global stages
- Learn and adopt global best practices in agri-trade and organic certification
Our recent participation includes collaboration with the World Farmers Market Coalition (Italy) and engagements in East African regional agri-trade expos.
